The domestication of husbands

I married the best of the best. Yes, I'm bragging. We went to church today, came home, ate lunch, and took naps, the usual. After nap time, we watched a movie and then Brett got to work. He did laundry, did the dishes and cleaned the kitchen. We had coolers on the back porch that needed to be cleaned out so he did that and he even did some valentines with the kids. Yes, I do them after V-day because they are only 25 cents a box then. He swept the floor and then to put a cherry on top, he baked a cake. I love him, but when he does my work for me, I adore him! Don't get me wrong, the house wasn't that bad, but I can't believe how much laundry 5 people can make in a few days. Dishes weren’t that bad either, I mostly had baking dishes on the counter dirty, but I hate doing dishes with a passion, which is retarded because I have a dish washer. How much easier does it get? Of course I'm a weirdo and cannot bring myself to put dirty dishes in the dishwasher. I have to clean everything before I put it in and use the dishwasher as a sanitizer. I get made fun of so much for this among my friends. Oh, well. Nothing is going to change.
Thank you Brett for being awesome.

I love having a helping husband. It makes things so much easier.. Don't worry I am right there with you.. Dishwasher is the sanitizer but even the best ones cannot really clean the dishes. You have to do it before. Just incase.

Hey me too..who wants food floating around the dishwasher? Though I doubt I'm as extreme as you. As we speak, Brandon is doing the dishes..ahh!..while I sit on my butt looking at blogs.

Oh, way to go on the Valentine's! That's a beautiful idea!

What a good husband! And I do they same thing before I put the dishes in the dishwasher. It blows my mind that people just put them in with all the food on them..gross!

I laughed, Brett read this right after I typed it. He complained saying I'm trying to make him sound perfect for any women who read my blog and make him sound like a lap dog for any guys reading it. I swear I write nothing but the truth so he can deal with it. I mean geez! I'm giving him cudos for being a good husband and he wines. Of course he was just kidding.

Okay...I checked your blog yesterday and this morning and it was the same marriage story...now I get on and there is all of this...and it syas it has been here for a day!?!?! What the?!?!

Anyways...Kudos to Brett for deciding for himself to clean and in no way was made to do so by anyone in the house. On his own accord he did clean so that he could have a clean house...no sap, no leashes, no nagging...just pure manliness... in an apron.
