I've been very hesitant about watching this movie, and I finaly did and found that it was every thing I thought it would be. The first movie I could gag, I'm just not going to watch any more. Here is an article I thought was very well written and it explains why I won't be waisting my money on this guy. It's like he's proud to be the anti Christ or something. Creepy.

We just got The Golden Compass through Netflix and it was awful. Yuck! I want the time back I wasted on it. I really think it's the first movie I've ever seen that I couldn't find at least one thing that I liked about it.
Hmmm...that is interesting. We saw the movie and I didn't think it was that bad. I wouldn't watch it again, but I didn't think it was horrible. I know the books are bad but I didn't think the movie was that bad. Hmmm...I guess I'm just weird or didn't look too much into it.
I never saw the movie or read any of the books. One of my friends read the 1st book and said that she had a wierd feeling the whole time and didn't read any of the others. sounds like i wont be watching this one anytime soon. I haven't heard anything good about it
