31. ...I'm the mother of a beautiful daughter, and have been for 7 years now.
32. ...my brave girl went into a whole new town, and a whole new school, filled with absolutely no one that we knew, and is now friends with everyone in her class.
33. ...my girl's favorite colors are "all of them!" but she still wanted her cupcake cake pops to be purple and pink for her class party.
34. ...Lauren wanted a beach party cake, which I had no idea what to do about, but had fun making any way.(and that my great friend Jen went home and made me some quick shark fins from fondant she just happened to have. Awesome!)
Maybe a little too much fun.
Because I named the sun-bathing bear after myself. Not that I ever get my pasty whiteness in a suit to sunbathe, but still.
35. ...Lauren is always so thankful and quick to give hugs for everything she gets. My kids are American kids and have so much, but they seem to realize that we are very fortunate.
36. ...sprinkles make me happy! All kinds. Also, that my fish have bubbles, even though Brett pointed out that they really wouldn't, like I care. All I wanted was an excuse to use more sugar pearls.
37. ...we all got bikes for our birthday and Christmas and we can now go on bike rides without borrowing bikes! I'm also thankful for Lauren running up and giving me a huge hug even before she ever touched her bike. So much excitement!
38. ...Lauren has such a positive outlook all the time. Her glass is always half full, and she is always excited and motivated to learn and grow. She takes challenges head on.
39. ..we can now all stop hearing about how much she wants a wooden wardrobe for her dolls clothes. THANK YOU Grandma Carleen!
40. ..I have THIS girl in my life. I can see why we were friends before we ever came to Earth.

Your cake is awesome and so much fun!! Lauren seems so very wonderful...you are lucky to have her and she is lucky to have you. Happy Birthday Lauren!!
